something is wrong with "vlc-cache-gen" because for some reason it
doesn’t allow -f parameter any more even if it does say that.
while update it does print:
Trigger for vlc-nox (3.0.0~~git20151203+r62588+34~ubuntu15.10.1) ...
Usage: /usr/lib/vlc/vlc-cache-gen [-f] <path>
Generate the LibVLC plugins cache for the specified plugins directory.
WARNING: Regenerating VLC plugin cache failed.
Please run 'vlc-cache-gen -f /usr/lib/vlc/plugins' manually.
testing it:
doesn’t work:
/usr/lib/vlc/vlc-cache-gen -f /usr/lib/vlc/plugins
Usage: /usr/lib/vlc/vlc-cache-gen [-f] <path>

does work:
/usr/lib/vlc/vlc-cache-gen /usr/lib/vlc/plugins
means either does vlc-cache-gen need to be fixed, or the vlc-nox.postinst
should not use the -f parameter
