crysman, does your locale use comma as decimal? I'm seeing this bug as well and I guess this would solve it https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11906. At least it seems like syndaemon only recognizes the integer part of the duration set i.e. it cannot read any decimal as it expects a dot but is given a comma.
