I am not into stuff such as Minecraft, but not having it on a right click is a pity...
I work in a NGO giving computers running under GNU/Linux and most of the people never use a terminal. GUI has improved a lot. One of the reason of a bad reputation of Linux, that' it was just for geeks and that you have to use a terminal all the time... Nowadays, it's a legend for the common tasks. Another bad reputation Linux had was about playing games. It greatly improved, but there are still a lot of games you have to download from the websites with a jar extension. Nautilus can with a right click / permission be marked as an executable. I prefer Thunar and don't understand why it is not possible. Here is my opinion ;) Anyway, thanks to all the devs working on Thunar, you do a great job ! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1256103 Title: Thunar doesn't allow setting executable bit on files it does not recognize as executable.
