Can confirm this bug appears to be present whenever replaying a video
from the indicators menu (i.e. restarting a video that has already been
played after its playback is complete)  - Tested with video scope and
gallery app.

It does not effect videos that are paused in the media player and then
resumed from the sound indicator (these resume in the manner you'd
expect).

Expected behaviour:
Using the steps described in the original report; replaying a video from the 
sound indicator should result in the video being visible when the indicator 
menu is dismissed (not solid white/black).
