OK, I am aware of PPA's, thank you. But what I am trying to do here is to stimulate the Ubuntu repos maintainers to update owncloud client, because it's horribly outdated and the less experienced users should have the possibility to experience the general smoothness of using *buntu family GNU/Linux operating systems...
