Definitely associated with the nvidia-glx-new. Can't seem to properly
install nvidia-glx anymore to test stability. The freezes range from
complete system freezes where Alt-PrtScn combinations can't successfully
shutdown the computer to softer freezes where only the mouse cursor is
left functional.

Summary: A newer unknown update now results in an unstable system with
regards to random freezes. Last several lockups have managed to allow
for Alt-PrtScn reboots. Earlier lynches did not. Possibly an NVidia
driver issue? System never froze under Feisty.

Frequency: Random. Once to twice per hour.

  Architecture: amd64

  Version: 7.10
