The is fixed in Marco 1.12.1 which will land in 16.04 soon. If you want
to upgrade to MATE 1.12.1 you can using our PPA.
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ubuntu-mate-dev/wily-mate
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
