netbear and unggnu, good work chasing down the patch for this! I've
incorporated it and uploaded it to Gutsy for xorg-server 12ubuntu8.
[Note, we generally put patches into the debian/patches dir rather than
applying them directly - I'll attach the corrected .debdiff for
reference.]
Also, to answer the question about .debs, generally people don't put
.debs into launchpad. I suppose it'd bloat launchpad's database if it
was done frequently. But no harm done in this case. I'll be happy to
help with .deb hosting if needed - find me on #ubuntu-x on Freenode, or
drop me an email.
Anyway, great work everyone! I think we can close this bug. Please
test against latest updated Gutsy with 12ubuntu8 and report here if the
issue is not fixed.
