Public bug reported:
Hi
I use i386 kubuntu 14.04.
Today I updated my system including security patch of cups-client, cups-common,
libcups2, cups-bsd etc.
After update printing to a remote cups server doesn't work (no cups
localy installed).
Normaly the system find in /home/<user>/.cups/client.conf the remote
cups server and all accessible printers.
After update, this was broken, lpstat -a ( or -v) doesn't get any
printer.
So I reinstalled Version 1.7.2-0ubuntu1.6 ( libcups2_1.7.2-0ubuntu1.6_i386.deb
libcupsimage2_1.7.2-0ubuntu1.6_i386.deb cups-client_1.7.2-0ubuntu1.6_i386.deb
cups-common_1.7.2-0ubuntu1.6_all.deb cups-bsd_1.7.2-0ubuntu1.6).
Now everything work again.
Please look into it.
Thanks in advance.
Volker
