Actually, this is the (still-unfixed) 1440x1440 bug. For whatever
reason Ubuntu is detecting this square resolution instead of the proper
(e.g. 1440x900) res. Marking to the dupe.

feisty fresh install sets xorg.conf to 1440x1440 instead of 1440x900 nvidia
