[Bug 1528727] [NEW] segmentation fault processing a .gif file

Public bug reported:

when process a .gif file the application aborts segment reporting a
segmentation fault

this fail ocurr with other archives .gif and other .png file that
represent a yellow line.

this only ocurr in ubuntu precise 12.04 (i386 and amd64) and ubuntu
trusty (i386)

in ubuntu trusty (amd64) my applications run fine.
