I also mentioned a crash above.  This occurred after my fourth or fifth
try on krillin/OTA8.5.   When I clicked the back button to return to the
main settings page, the page was rendered with stretched icons, then it
crashed and I had to relaunch.

You mention errors in logs, however I didn't see any messages in syslog.
Which log file were you looking at?
