Public bug reported:
To reproduce (on this hardware)
1) Install 14.04.3 LTS (Ubuntu or XUbuntu)
2) Install updates
3) Reboot
The kernel used after update is 3.19.0-42. Booting with the kernel that
came with the install image (3.19.0-25) works fine.
This computer is a HP Compaq 6715s. I have looked at HPs support pages
for BIOS updates for this model but none was available.
