Public bug reported:
Ok, the program didn't die so much as give me the option to abort,
retry, or skip. When you hit 'abort', it triggers the bug reporting
dialog box.
I had downloaded the iso image, burned it to a dvd, put it into this
computer and tried to install Ubuntu with it. Apparently a few blocks
are bad, because halfway through copying files to the hard drive, two
files failed the checksum test.
Rather than burn another dvd or replace the dvd drive, I propose a new
option: "retrieve corrupted file from the net and continue", much like
the net-install does.
Thanks!
