The latest version I could replicate the Problem was 7.04. I didn't try
anything beyond that however…
I don't have physical access to this machine till ~ mid of December, so
unfortunately I won't be able to do any testing until then. Once I
return from my trip to china, I can verify it with the latest Ubuntu
Release and also a Radeon 2400Pro Card.
I think that Ubuntu booted fine with the ATI specimen, but I don't
remember if two displays were connected in this situation.
