Public bug reported:

XGL has wrong behaviors in both feisty and in gutsy:

in Feisty:
I install xserver-xgl, but nothing happens, I need to make and edit a lot of
files to make it start by making an xgl session

in Gutsy:
when I upgraded to gutsy, I had my xserver-xgl replaced with a new one, wich
behaved otherwise, It started even when I logged in to an ordonary kde session,
wich is also wrong.

The problem looks like this:
When I have an ati videocard wich runs only on fglrx, I need to decide when I
start my laptop what do I need to use it for:
1) if I want to use it for entertainment, then I start an xgl session because I
need it for compiz and eyecandy
1) if I want to develop OpenGL programs or use OpenGL programs, I would like to
start a non-xgl session because OpenGL doesn`t work in xgl on fglrx

The best solution would probebly be making two or more separate sessions
for xgl, for example xgl-kde, xgl-gnome etc. that way a user could
choose between regular and xgl sessions on start.

** Affects: xserver-xgl (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
