Thank you for you replay. I've done this: In non accelerated mode after recovery boot switch to X.Org X server display driver, restart, switch back to fglrx, restart and it works. So I guess the reinstall of fglrx was needed.
I updated the BIOS but obviously the problem is not reproducible (after fglrx reinstallation it works). I don't think it's related to BIOS but rather to a hybrid graphic card i have (Intel Haswell + AMD Radeon R5 M255). My another bug regarding hardware acceleration: (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1525721). ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1531439 Title: Freeze after kernel upgrade to 4.0.23 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1531439/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
