OpenAFS 1.6.7-1ubuntu1.1, Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS: After a recent security upgrade,
OpenAFS backup
command fails with error "backup: Volume name is illegal ; Failed to evaluate
volume set" for a volume
name "*.backup". The same error, for volume names using a regular expression,
was introduced in
OpenAFS 1.6.13 security release (July 29, 2015) and was fixed in OpenAFS 1.6.14
(August 13, 2016).
Perhaps it was incorporated into the recent security upgrade?
