aexl, while Vivid is EOL as per https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases, the
release you would be upgrading to isn't.
Hence, to see if this is already resolved in Ubuntu, could you please
upgrade to either Wily or Xenial, and advise if this is still
reproducible?
