Public bug reported: The bug report
https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12407 describes a repeatable bug by which clicking on the menu bar of a KDE app will, in certain circumstances, cause the entire XFCE4 session to freeze with the only option to kill the X session, losing unsaved work. The maintainer responded that the bug has been fixed in the commit http://git.xfce.org/xfce/xfwm4/commit/?id=71d37e11 from 18 May 2015. However that commit has not made it into the Ubuntu 15.10 or 16.04 package. Can the packages be brought up-to-date with respect to this important bugfix? ** Affects: xfwm4 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1535112 Title: moving KDE apps with menu bar click can cause an unrecoverable freeze To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfwm4/+bug/1535112/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
