Is it OK if I do the bisection procedure trying different kernels (as I did previously) instead of a whole distribution?
I have no way of testing whether the bug exists in a particular kernel or not, so I simply use my computer and wait for it to appear. Testing on a live cd would not be practical for me. Also, I see that xenial uses release candidates for the 4.4 kernel, which is very close to what I have tried. Will I simply go back until I find a version with the bug or should I try something intermediate like, for example, the kernel used in 15.04? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1532975 Title: Screen periodically goes black for a second To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1532975/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
