Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
Running Gutsy/x86/Lenovo t60 Thinkpad. Any attempt to change monitor brightness fails. The fn-home/fn-end keystrokes do not work, nor does gnome-power-manager change it. In fact, gnome shows the brightness to be at 100%, while /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness is at 0. Altering the brightness file in terminal does not affect it--the file simply reverts back to 0. ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- unable to change monitor brightness https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/147233 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
