------- Comment From [email protected] 2016-01-25 14:41 EDT------- The last install test was run on 2016-01-14. The system hasn't been needed, so it was left in the partial install state in case additional testing was needed. I blocked the installer's view of /dev/sda and let it complete so that additional post-install data could be gathered.
No RAID was used for this install. Once booted, the partition information shown for the new install disk is: # parted /dev/sdb print Model: IBM IPR-0 5DA5D300 (scsi) Disk /dev/sdb: 1143GB Sector size (logical/physical): 512B/4096B Partition Table: gpt Number Start End Size File system Name Flags 1 1049kB 8389kB 7340kB boot 2 8389kB 1096GB 1096GB ext4 3 1096GB 1143GB 46.2GB linux-swap(v1) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1523637 Title: grub-installer fails due to alternate disk partition error - 14.04.3 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub-installer/+bug/1523637/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
