We don't deal with GPUs or generic ACPI in thinkpad-acpi-devel, just with the thinkpad-acpi driver.
Please do this: remove the thinkpad-acpi driver (make it so it won't autoload, maybe renaming it). Reboot. Test. If the problem persists, we cannot help you in the thinkpad-acpi-devel.
