Hi,
the lxfcs 0.17-0ubuntu2 has the following in it's prerm file:
if [ "$1" = remove ] && [ "${DPKG_MAINTSCRIPT_PACKAGE_REFCOUNT:-1}" = 1 ]; then
pam-auth-update --package --remove cgm
fi
I guess you actually want to remove "cgfs" here?
Also, debian/README.Debian speaks about pam-cgm which sounds wrong.
