Public bug reported: The gcc supplied in Ubuntu 12.04LTS "precise" (4.6.3-1ubuntu5) has this upstream bug, which is causing miscompilation for me:
https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=53908 The fix is in upstream 4.6.4 (so 4.6.4-6ubuntu2 from "trusty" is OK), and was backported to debian's 4.6.3-9. Can this be fixed in 12.04LTS please? ** Affects: gcc-4.6 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1540869 Title: Bad code generation in 12.04LTS/4.6.3-1ubuntu5, GCC bug #53908 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gcc-4.6/+bug/1540869/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
