The latest sync from Debian is stuck in proposed because it drops a
binary package. I filed bug 1541511 to get that cleared up. I looked
at both the release and proposed versions. Both are fine.
This still relies on python2, but it's just a build-depend, so that's
fine.
But:
- Needs a package team bug subscriber for whomever will look after it in Ubuntu
