|Enabling NVDIMMs in linux-generic precludes support for legacy DMA devices
that can only address RAM below 16MB.

I do not need a kernel with low-latency, but I need the support of my
sound card.
Where people can see a list of hardware which support is broken by
Ubuntu developers in generic kernel 4.3 and higher? I certainly do not care. I
will build a customized kernel from source. But what about newbies? Have you
thought about them? Such 'innovations' frighten users away from Ubuntu. Don't
you think that the generic kernel must support as much hardware as possible?
