Ok. I'll test with the nv driver later, as I don't want to restart my X currently.
The gdm.conf, as stated previously, is the one that is installed per default. I've made no changes. Should I attach it anyways? Since the greeter segfaults, it should be possible to obtain a core- dump, and from that a backtrace. But I can't seem to find a corefile anywhere.
