Unity is a shell for launching and switching apps. There is no version of Unity that “offers a tool for upgrades”. So I still have no idea what this bug report is about.
Unity 7 and earlier run on systems where you use Software Updater to install both updates and upgrades. Unity 8 runs on systems where you use System Settings to install both updates and upgrades. (That might change in future, but that’s the current design.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1541959 Title: implement a software Updater To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-ux/+bug/1541959/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
