I have exactly same problem as described. After upgrading to 14.04 and mounting samba. Nautilus freeze and. So work with 14.04 is not possible so. I reinstaled 12.04. I tried before to change some settings in fstab. I thought reason is in fstab so I I added to mountpoint: ,_netdev,iocharset=utf8,
//bla/bla /PISARNA cifs username=asa,_netdev,auto,user,uid=grh,gid=grh,iocharset=utf8, 0 0 but it is no effect . There is some delay or loop in smb conection itself. Interesting is, that if you have one window in nautilus already opened delay is shorter. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1363217 Title: gvfs samba mounts cause periodic nautilus and open/save file dialog freezes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/1363217/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
