After 40 hours of trying, I bought a DVD reader and reinstalled Ubuntu. I encourage to implement: when we accept proposed updates, a warning appears explaining the risks. Reason: many of us can not understand what is suggested here or elsewhere in Internet related with Terminal -no further than copy&paste- even if we have an extra computer to read online the suggestions -Network Manager was broken- and try to solve this problem for days, we still can not repair this bugs. PS: move/copy this suggestion if you think of a better place for implementation.
