Looks like Robert Ancell dropped the transition packages from GS - bad mistake ;-) GS implements the PackageKit session interface now, while it was dropped from GNOME-PackageKit in recent releases, so the transitional packages must be in place, especially (obviously) if GPK is updated in Ubuntu.
I have no idea how these interfaces work when GS is installed without PackageKit - afterall, the possibility to disable PK in GS was introduced to GS only to be able to xdg-app-sandbox it, and not to actually use it without PK. Maybe the session interface will still work though, and just use your aptd stuff... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1544471 Title: Install failure: trying to overwrite '/usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.freedesktop.PackageKit.service', which is also in package gnome-packagekit-session 3.14.2-0ubuntu2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-software/+bug/1544471/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
