Before trying the latest kernel, I attempted to boot from Ubuntu 16.04's daily build via USB, and it booted kernel 4.4.0-2generic #16-Ubuntu just fine.
After this, I attempted to boot the system again with Ubuntu 14.04's latest kernel: 3.13.0-77-generic #121-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jan 20 10:50:42 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux This is the one I had previous said did not work. However, it now works!? I cannot explain why 3.13.0-77 had kernel panics messages in my previous boot-failures, but it is booting fine now. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1541629 Title: Lenovo IdeaCentre Q190 Won't Boot linux-image-3.13.0-77-generic 3.13.0-77.121 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/1541629/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
