Public bug reported:
attempted upgrade of 14.04 to 15.10. (I assumed online upgrade would
proceed through 14.10 etc). it crashed out and I was unable to reboot.
Booted from a CD with 15.10 and tried to repair, next time only had
option of new install, which has also failed. Am rather confused with
UEFI.
