The Qt volume limit is for the Qt volume widget only. This is working as it's supposed to.
While it is debatable if the mouse wheel should obey the limit (it is not part of the VLC Qt plugin), VLC cannot enforce volume limits system- wide. PulseAudio is responsible for that, and does not care about VLC limits. ** Bug watch added: VLC Trac #15010 http://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/15010 ** Also affects: vlc via http://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/15010 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Changed in: vlc (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1541269 Title: Setting volume limit for Qt interface does not work completely To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/vlc/+bug/1541269/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
