Oh yeah, that's true.  But some overlay/phone packages are used on the
desktop and thus go into main.  And their dependencies have to be in
main, and so on.  So sometimes we need it, sometimes we don't.  I had
assumed mediascanner was being used by something else in main (or you
wanted to get the mediascanner scope into the desktop).  If not, no need
for a MIR.  Great.  :)
