Thanks for testing the mainline kernel.  We know the bug still exists
upstream now.  Then next step is for us to bisect and identify the
commit that introduced this regression.

Do you happen to know the last good kernel version that did not exhibit
this bug?  If not, I can post some links to kernels to narrow it down.
