flashrom has released 0.9.9-rc1.
Ubuntu is still at 0.9.7+r1852-1.1 which is missing quite a few critical
bugfixes and does not build on all Ubuntu supported architectures.
flashrom 0.9.9 compiles and works on all architectures except
S390/S390x.
