Running Ubuntu-14.0.3:amd64 Linux 3.13.0-77-generic, tried all the answers but didn't work, getting this bug after package upgrade on 20-02-16, even purging initramfs-tools didn't work. So now I am running on 3.13.0-76 kernel.
