@flocculant Yes, I was seeing the very same issue on Oracle VirtualBox which is installed on my laptop. Wxl suggested to remove the battery and try and indeed, it did not happen when I removed the battery. I thought because it's a virtual machine, that won't affect or happen when I remove the battery but I was wrong. So, once you remove the battery whether on real hardware or virtual, you won't see this. As long as the battery is plugged in, you will see it.
However, it seems it is fixed now :) I'm installing and so far so good.
