Skylake systems fail to boot with Ubuntu 16.04
CPU: Intel i5-6440EQ, i7-6820EQ
Kernel version: 4.4.0-8
Mainline kernel tested fail: 4.1.9, 4.4.x, 4.5.x
Mainline kernel tested pass: 4.1.8
Reproduce steps:
1. Boot from the bootable USB drive (in UEFI mode)
2. Select "Install Ubuntu" from the boot menu
Expected Behavior:
System completes installation successfully.
Actual Behavior:
Blank screen right after the grub option is made.
