I agree with the previous speakers: possibility to sync calendars with any free 
caldav sync server is absolute necessary condition to make the ubuntu phone 
ready for daily use. 
Nobody will adopt an ubuntu phone or tablet to deal (only) with google for such 
basic tasks. Most of the potential users of ubuntu phone / tablet are linux and 
open source enthusiasts, who host their data on own servers with software like 
owncloud or baikal. I can not understand, why such a fundamental feature is 
triaged as "medium important" or "undecided" since 2013!
So I ask you to solve this issue because I (and hopefully thousends other 
people) will use ubuntu phone as their primary mobile platform!
