I was attempting to upgrade to 14.04 over ssh... the upgrade seemed to
have completed, but I lost my connection and was forced to re-boot the
machine remotely. After logging back on, apt-get contains numerous
errors when trying to upgrade, install, or remove any packages-

I've tried the combo of

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get autoclean
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get autoremove

also with no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
