Without /var/log/installer/syslog, I can't do anything with this bug.
Julien, if you can reproduce this bug with Ubuntu 6.06.1, please reopen
this bug and attach /var/log/installer/syslog, /var/log/syslog, and
/var/log/partman. Anyone else, please file a new bug.
I note that your syslog exhibits some warnings about CD read errors. I
suggest burning the CD at a lower speed (if applicable) and cleaning the
CD drive lens with the sort of cleaning kit you can get at electronics
shops; then perform a CD integrity check before starting the install
again.
