Public bug reported:

I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 dev with xscreensaver 5.34-1ubuntu1 and for
example if I'm typing my password to disable the xscreensaver lock the
timeout bar fills a specific percent. But this can be a problem if the
user has set the option passwdTimeout to a too low value (for example 1
second by accident). Maybe pressing a button can also guarantee to fill
the timeout bar a minimum of a few seconds so that users that can not
type very fast don't get locked out.

** Affects: xscreensaver (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
