hi, I'm using Ubuntu 15.10 with kernel version 4.3.0 on a dell xps13 9350. I still have the problem of usb-c/thunderbolt to ethernet adapter: It works if plugged in while booted, but not after removing / replugging, or if plugging in after booted.
I remeber that when I was installing Unbuntu (kernel 4.2.0) the thunderbolt worked, but I upgreded the kernel version in order to have native support for skylake and intel grafics. Recently I tried the live of ubuntu mate 16.04 beta1, but the issue on the thunderbolt is still there. thanks Francesco -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1497321 Title: thunderbolt ethernet adapter not hotpluggable on MacbookPro12,1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/1497321/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
