1) Dmidecode now shows:
01.06.00

2) The hotkey still does not work, but now there is a message in dmesg
when you press it:
dell_wmi: Unknown key with scancode 0xe008 pressed
or
dell_wmi: Unknown key 0xe008 pressed
The former is with upstream 4.5rc5, the latter with Ubuntu's
4.4.0-11-generic.
