Thank you for reporting this bug and helping make Ubuntu better. However, I don't think this is an Ubuntu issue, and adding a feature to cache DNS entries won't really solve the problem since it won't cache sites you can't go to in the first place. The problem is with the DNS server that you're using (I assume it's your ISP's nameserver). You can try using OpenDNS by adding this into your name server list: 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
