"Since you have had this happen multiple time, it might be a good idea for you to install the debug symbols for the package. Download these files, and install them with dpkg http://people.ubuntu.com/~pitti/ddebs/pool/multiverse/m/mythtv/libmyth-0.20-dbgsym_0.20-0.2ubuntu2_i386.ddeb http://people.ubuntu.com/~pitti/ddebs/pool/multiverse/m/mythtv/mythtv-backend-dbgsym_0.20-0.2ubuntu2_i386.ddeb"
I just filed a bug report with the same description, and started to read this log. I tried to download the symbols, but the links are no longer valid. Is there an alternative method? I'm still learning Linux, and I tried using GJIG to download libmyth and mythtv-backend Recommended and Suggested. Also, where exactly does the database info come from? The web, or my /dev/video0? If it's from the /dev/video0, I don't think I have a working driver for it (AVerTV G) 007 FM Plus). I wrote to AVerMedia for assistance with a driver, and they wrote back yesterday that they wouldn't supply one. -- mythfilldatabase crashed near MythContext::ClearSettingsCache https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/70844 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
